Absentee Protocol
It is a requirement by the government for parents to notify the school of a child’s absence from school.

Bullying, Harassment, Aggression & Violence Policy
Catholic schools have a responsibility to provide an educational environment that promotes the dignity and respect of the person and, therefore, aims to eliminate bullying and harassment in all forms.

Code of Conduct
The purpose of the Code of Conduct is to describe minimum standards of conduct in all behaviour and decision making to ensure the safety and well-being of students.

School to Parent Communication Protocols
Good communication is central to our community being informed about all that happens in and about our school. There are many different forms of communication used in today’s schools and we encourage everyone to become fully informed.

Crunch & Sip Policy
Crunch & Sip break is a set break for students to eat fruit or salad vegetables and drink water in the classroom. St Patrick’s School has introduced Crunch & Sip to support students to establish healthy eating habits whilst at school.

Dispute or Complaint in a Catholic School Policy
The purpose of this publication is to provide an overview of the process to be utilised in Catholic schools in the resolution of a dispute or complaint that may arise from time to time.

Email and Internet Use Policy
Email and the Internet give people a way of communicating with our friends or other people all over the world. We can send messages through email. We can also find out about many things by searching the Internet for information. Using the Internet in a sensible way, can help us learn many skills and find out interesting things about the world.

Enrolment Policy
Catholic schools exist to further the mission of the Church. In Western Australia, the Mandate of the Bishop requires the Catholic Education Commission of WA to make Catholic school education available to all Catholic children, insofar as this is possible.

Homework Policy
The overall aim of assigning homework is to produce higher levels of student achievement.

School Fees Setting and Collections Policy
The Catholic Education Commission of Western Australia (CECWA) has a responsibility to make a Catholic education available to all Catholic students whose parents seek a Catholic education for them, insofar as this is possible, while embodying the Church’s preferential option for the poor and disadvantaged (Mandate page 50).¹ Schools have a responsibility to communicate the financial constraints under which they operate to parents enrolling their children in Catholic schools.

Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to schools conducted by the Catholic Education Office of Western Australia. This statement outlines St. Patrick's School Katanning policy on how it uses and manages personal information provided to or collected by it.

St Patrick’s School Uniform Policy
The school uniform identifies the individual as belonging to the whole. It should be worn neatly, correctly and with pride, reflecting the respect that it symbolises.
Parents are asked to support the St Patrick’s uniform policy to ensure students are correctly attired.
