School Advisory Council

Catholic Education Western Australia is committed to ensuring a Christ-centred and child focused environment for its students, the School Advisory Council acts as an invaluable support to the realisation of this aim. 

Being a member of your school’s Advisory Council is a wonderful way to get involved in your school, whether you are a parent or community member. It is an opportunity to contribute your skills and expertise in a meaningful and structured way, to help shape the future of your school. 

Each school has its own Advisory Council. As a member, you will work with the Principal to enact Quality Catholic Education across the Catholic School community, as well as strategically plan for the present and future operation of your school.

The Advisory Council represents your Catholic school’s community and plays an active role in nurturing and strengthening the Catholic culture of your school.

School Advisory Council Chairpersons Report 2023

We have enjoyed another busy, but successful year at Saint Patrick’s, with many achievements and much to celebrate. It has been very pleasing for us on the School Advisory Council to see the school make such great progress towards many of our strategic goals this year. One of our major goals has been to focus on growing our school by attracting as many Kindy students as possible each year, so we were delighted to see such a large Kindy group come through this year, under the new Kindy team led by the talented Mrs Gerri Kowald. On the SAC, we have also spoken at length about how we can ensure that St Patrick’s develops its reputation as an outstanding school in our region- we are very satisfied that we have been able to take many steps in 2023 towards achieving this.
